YOU ARE NOT ALONE

I left the Republican party in 2016 because the Republican nominee lacked the character to lead this country. Now in 2024, the anti-woman rhetoric from the Republican candidate has totally stunned me. What has frightened me even more is that so many in our country find this rhetoric to be acceptable or even funny. After a 40-year professional career, I am extremely concerned about the country I am leaving to my daughters. I take heart that my 10-year-old great grandson asked me today how men could vote for someone who was so disrespectful to women. As my generation has apparently lost their moral compass, I can only hope that the generations that follow us can repair the damage that Trump has done to this great nation.

I liked Mike Pence and Liz Cheney's country over politics thinking.

I am an Independent, former Republican who left the party when Donald Trump became the nominee in 2016. I support Kamala Harris because she respects the Constitution and the laws of this country. She seeks to understand and meet the needs of the American people and serves them instead of herself.

Leadership matters. Kamala Harris provides a positive vision for our nation, and exalts our strengths and differences. Donald Trump's record is clear, and it's time for the people to end his political career.

The amount of discrimination and disrespect for others has grown tremendously since Donald trump was elected. Jan 6th was a disgrace that our commander in chief would sit in the White House and not stop the carnage. The republican party should be ashamed that they let him take control and gave him the nomination for president.

I have been a Republican for over 40 years. I cannot bring myself to support Trump. He only cares about himself. Out country cannot survive another 4 years with him in power. While I do not love her policies, Kamala is the only rational choice.

Retired from Army after 31 years. As an old tanker you take out the close threat first (Trump) and the far threat later (differences in policy). I have other vets that agree!

Trump is our country’s primary threat. As Americans, we deserve much better than a felon and sex offender as our next president. VP Harris is a principled leader who loves our country.

Trump would be a disaster for us. His first term benefited the 1%. His second term would turn the USA into a Fascist Country. I'm 82 and my parent's generation defeated Fascism. Now we are facing a Fascist revolt from within. TRUMP AND VANCE HAVE TO BE STOPPED!!!

I have always been a republican however I cannot support Donald Trump he has created such discord in the country. He is not a Christian (he is actually the opposite of a Godly man) He is not a decent human being, I can't stand how he makes fun of everyone. He is clearly not fit to be president for a many, many, many reasons. My vote is with Kamala Harris!

I am an Independent gay woman currently residing in the Bay Area CA. Born and raised a proud Californian, with plans to retire in Tucson AZ. I visit AZ once a month to make an effort to know AZ and its people, love the people, including many beautifully spirited republicans. Very proud to support this movement! Right on Arizona.

I believe in character, morals, and freedoms that my agency should not be the will of the government. I am a woman, a mother, a wife, a christian, a passionate ally for LGBTQ+, and I’m also a registered republican, and a business executive, and I will be voting for Harris/Walz and many other local democrats this election as this Republican Party no longer speaks to me or for me.

The Republican party is no longer the same party I joined decades ago. It is filled with extreme ideology, hate and prejudice, and threatening to take us back in time, especially where women are concerned. I support Kamala Harris because she represents a way forward, she represents positivity, and fighting for what is right for ALL Americans. She represents equality, women's rights, working together towards a common goal, and most importantly, she defends and fights FOR democracy in this great land.

My friends know that I no longer feel welcome in the Republican Party due to Trump and his MAGA Agenda. He lost in 2020 because many people like me voted against his style of leadership. It was not something I could, in good conscience, support. Donald Trump reminds me of the high school bully who never outgrew the name calling stage. But I, like all good Americans, abhor the attempt on former President’s life. Both parties have become too focused on calling their opponents enemies. The party’s extremes have become more like terrorists who believe the end justifies the means. This leads to violence being normalized. The far left and far right have way more in common that they would like to admit. Somewhere along the way political advertising quit talking about a candidate’s views and strong points and instead started focusing on why their opponent is evil.

I proudly joined Republicans for Harris, not because I agree with all her agenda, but because she brings a saneness to politics that I do not see on the Republican side. It is very much needed right now. Politics has always been a pendulum swinging between differing points of view. Hopefully, this too shall pass and things swings back to the middle.

I am a lifelong Republican. I firmly believe that Trump and his MAGA allies are trying to bring down our Democracy. They must be relegated to the dustbin of history, ASAP. LET'S TAKE OUR PARTY BACK!!!

January 6th, the right for women to choose their on health care. All the lies, and rhetoric that Trump spouts out on a daily basis. The disrespect towards veterans, women, handicapped people, and him being a racist to many cultures.

Until 2016 I WAS a lifelong Republican and am hopeful I can once again say I am. For 88 years I have been grateful to live in this wonderful country without a dictator and want that for my children and grandchildren. What is happening now, in our country, brings to mind what happened in Germany in the late 1930s. I don't know if some of the voters, in this election know what they may be in for if they vote for Project 2025 (Trump/Vance ticket) I can only hope that people realize the seriousness of this time.

I no longer recognize this Republican Party. It has become an embarrassment.

Having worked in the area of disabilities for 40 years, the only thing you need to know about Donald Trump to disqualify him from the presidency is his mocking of a reporter. As a woman, all you have to know is his history with assault. As a mother of two children of a legal immigrant, all you have to know is his hateful and delusional treatment of immigrants and his joy in degrading people. As a clinical therapist you need only look at his very disturbed personality to know that he cannot be placed in charge of this nation. I am voting for Harris on values and the hope of re-instilling stability and decency in this country.

[I'm a] Lifelong Republican, the logic, courtesy and values have been abandoned. Trump [is] unfit for office. There is a a candidate who follows due process, negotiations, compromise, and SHE is running on the democratic ticket.

I have voted nearly all my life as an independent. In recent years I finally registered as a democratic. I like to call myself a republicrate, because I share views and values that reflect both parties. Now is not the time to stand behind a man for parties sake. But to stand behind the woman that reflects the values we ALL share and believe in. We need to vote for Kamala, like our democracy depends on it. Thank you and God bless the USA!

I have been a registered Republican since I first voted in 1983. I believe in being in being fiscally responsible, the free market and the rule of law. The Trump led party stands for none of these principles. Harris will surround herself with strong team that will actually work to govern and unite the country.

We proudly supported every Republican candidate for President from Ronald Reagan to Mitt Romney. Then, the GOP set on a course that conflicted with our values. Donald Trump has spent his entire career promoting himself, bullying others and stoking fear. He has consistently eroded trust in our democratic institutions, undermined the rule of law and weakened America's international standing. Kamala Harris has spent her entire career enforcing our laws and solving problems. She consistently promotes the American ideals of fairness, optimism, respect and decency--ideals that are sorely needed in a divided nation and a world looking to America for leadership. The contrast between these two candidates couldn’t be greater and we are proud to support Kamala Harris for President.

I am a native North Dakotan that assisted in the development of its economy with the support of three Republican administrations over 20 years. I greatly admire the many successful business people and public servants I worked with. You can tell these folks pretty easily as they put aside their ambitions and seek to work with others to effectively address problems and implement solutions. I voted for Donald Trump in 2016 thinking that the business acumen he was promoting could assist in addressing our federal deficit while building a stronger economy as well as strengthen our defense and those of our allies. Boy, was I wrong! As were millions of other Republicans! As I followed the actions of his administration I realized what a mistake I had made in believing this man is a real Republican. As he's blamed many others, former President Trump is the real Republican In Name Only (RINO). The true character, ethics, honesty and respect required of any successful leader in any political party or organization has not found a home in Donald Trump. I hope that those that believe they should continue to support the Republican Party come to realize that as long as Donald Trump is around this is not the Republican Party as it once was and will need to become again. Those that chose to run for President earlier in this campaign on the Republican side have already - behind the scenes - said as much. Those that worked with the Trump Administration have said as much. And the country's judicial system has put up with as much as it should have to from an individual who truly believes he is above the law. For those of you that want to truly MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, start by turning your back on Donald Trump and those that seek to put this felon back in the most important office in the world.

As a Republican, I’m supporting Kamala Harris because I’m tired of losing elections due to the baseless claims, divisiveness, and shameful rhetoric that have taken over the party under Trump. The true conservative values of community, supporting veterans, loving our neighbors, limited government, and free markets have been thrown out the window. MAGA Republicans put their political careers before doing the right thing—like stopping the border bill just because Trump said it wouldn’t benefit him. While they complain and fearmonger, they fail to offer real solutions to the problems we face. It’s time for leadership that puts people first and actually moves us forward.

I have voted in 12 presidential elections, with most of my votes historically being cast for republicans. I consider myself fiscally conservative and socially moderate. No amount of party affiliation could ever allow me to vote for Trump, who violates every core value that I have ever held. The Republican party as it sits today is unrecognizable. I am proudly casting my vote for Harris in hopes of restoring stability, sanity and ethics.

We need to take back our democracy and move past the Donald Trump era!

I’m a Veteran, I took an oath to “support and defend the Constitution” for 3:41 DJT did not uphold his oath to “preserve, protect and defend” the Constitution.

As Kamala has stated we have a fleeting opportunity to change this country's trajectory for the future. Even if Republicans don't agree with everything the Democrats are proposing, what's most important is the integrity and the character of the president. This one election cycle has the potential to wipe out MAGA extremists. At the moment there is no one that has the following that Trump has to replace him. There is no way Trump can run again in 4 years as he will just be too old.

As a lifelong Republican, I cannot support for any elected office a 34-times convicted felon who wants to suspend the Constitution he has sworn to protect and defend.
